Located outside the town center, the hotel sits in a serene and peaceful area. Guests can appreciate the scenic beauty of the surrounding countryside. Rooms away from the center provide the perfect opportunity for a good night's rest.

Some aspects of the hotel may not meet expectations.

The check in policy for this hotel is not clear at all. The booking was done through this site with no issues but they kicked up a fuss wanting a photocopy of the actual card I used to book. This hotel chain needs to reassess it's booking system, as they didn't show much flexibility when it came to payments. Otherwise, an ok stay.

Tired decor, Internet acess via dial up!!! I certainly didn't have the right cabling to use dial up...nor did I approach the front desk as dial up would have been unbearable. Outside of that the room had all basic requirements. Would have been nice to have one less bed in lounge and a sofa instead.

One thing that really impressed me about this hotel was its location on the outskirts of town. It provided a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms were basic but comfortable, with great beds that ensured a good night's sleep. The attention to detail was admirable, from the well-maintained facilities to the fantastic view from the room. Also, the staff were exceptional, providing excellent service throughout our stay.

All in all, our experience at this hotel was absolutely fine.

Very friendly receptionist. more than helpful. Good selection of meals. Room clean, had everything we needed. Excellent outdoor area. We have stayed their before and will again.

The breakfast selection at Heartland Hotel was simply delicious. I opted for the cooked breakfast and every item was cooked to perfection. The hash browns were crispy and not greasy at all, and the sausage had just the right amount of seasoning. The coffee was also excellent, with a rich and flavorful taste. I appreciated being able to help myself to juice, toast, and other items.

Easy to book in & efficient staff, good food,clean & tidy rooms !

Room was clean and comfortable,parking convenient,grounds beautiful,and contact with locals in public bar was a bonus.

House bar was closed very early on the Saturday night-a foolish commercial decision with over twenty after-concert choir members feeling thirsty and unable to tolerate the band noise level in the public bar.

I had a great weekend getaway at a hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel had all the necessary facilities, including parking and transportation to the restaurant when it's raining. It was located on the outskirts of the town, but this provided a scenic view of a nearby park. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious.

The shower head and around the edges of the shower floor were in need of a good clean.

Great staff and good food, plus convenient parking! The hotel is in a great location with easy access to main roads. The rooms are well-presented, clean, and comfortable, making it an enjoyable stay. The staff is very friendly. Dinner was fabulous. The whole experience was brilliant.

There was some noise from the outside traffic, and breakfast was not as good as expected. Ordering the breakfast the night before was not a problem.
